Why should I register for the Challenge?
In order for your presentations during Dog Bite Prevention Week to count towards the Challenge total, you must register. Is is essential for our success in tracking our goal for us to know how many children you expect to educate and how may you actually do educate.
We plan to have a map and a thermometer on the Challenge home page that will let people know how close we are to reaching the goal, based on the expected numbers supplied by you and the other presenters. To accomplish this we need presenters to provide us with up to date data on their expectations.

Login to your profile, click on Edit profile, find the section that relates to the Challenge and enter the number of children you expect to educate. Can I get a free kit to participate in the Challenge?
We are not giving away free kits as part of the challenge. We will be applying for grants and seeking sponsorship funding. This funding will be used to purchase kits for rescues, shelters, dog clubs, animal control and public health agencies so that they can go into the community and present the program. You may be able to get involved through one of these.
We may also be hiring presenters to give presentations in some areas. If you were paid to do a presentation, that would cover the cost of your kit.
If you do not wish to purchase a kit, but would like to be involved with the Challenge, please give your name, contact information and location to your local Presenter Liaison person so that we can contact you if we have grant money to spend in your area.
